Narrated by the singer and actress, Elaine Paige, the programme highlights the plight of the almost 100 million street children in the world today and the problems and dangers they face.

It was shot in the former Soviet Republic of Kyrgyzstan and Ethiopia in 2003 and covers the work of the charity, EveryChild in these countries with locally based partners striving to improve the lives of children living and working on the streets there.
