The Script
Research and script writing are skilled jobs so we can provide these services for you. However, if you feel confident to do so, you can do a lot of the work towards developing a basic script yourself.
The script is in effect a 'blueprint' of how all the images, voices, music, sound effects, etc. go together, and usually takes the form of a two column page with words down the left hand side and a description of the corresponding images down the right hand side.
For more complex scenes it might be necessary to draw a cartoon strip style storyboard to help visualise the action. A major part of script writing is often the factual research that needs to be done first to ensure accuracy and realism. The script is something of an 'organic' document and usually tends to evolve as the production progresses, with the client making suggestions for changes and revisions as filming takes place. Often there will be last minute 'tweaks' right into the editing phase of your production.
